Every quote covers materials (cable, faceplates, patch panel ports), labour, cable testing, and labelling. Depending on the scope and location of the job, a travel component may apply. We quote per point or per project — you'll always have a clear breakdown before any work starts.
Installation time depends on the scope of the job — the number of points, cable run distances, building construction, and access conditions all play a role. A realistic timeline is confirmed in your quote once we've assessed the site. We don't estimate time without understanding the actual job.
Yes. We're used to working in active business environments and approach it professionally. Scheduling and timing — including how to minimise disruption to your staff — is something we discuss and agree on before the installation date is confirmed.
Both support gigabit speeds for typical office use. Cat6 offers better performance headroom at higher speeds and over longer runs, with improved crosstalk resistance. We generally recommend Cat6 for all new installations — it's the better long-term investment. We'll advise based on your specific environment and budget.
Yes — cable, faceplates, patch panels, containment, and all consumables are included in the quote. You don't need to source anything separately. If you have existing equipment you'd like us to use, we can work with that too — just let us know at the assessment stage.
For the site assessment, nothing special is needed — just access to the areas where data points are required. For the installation itself, we'll agree in advance on where cables will route and whether any furniture needs to be temporarily moved. We clean up as we go and leave the space tidy on completion.
